Artist Statement: This concept is a play on the serve, with the top image being the player bouncing the ball, prepping for the perfect serve, and the bottom image depicting the toss before the strike. The composition evokes the painting “The Creation of Adam," with the hands reaching towards each other. Stylistically, the idea was to reflect the feeling of those retro tennis posters from tournaments past, while adding a vibrant, modern aesthetic.
