Artist Statement: This animation depicts a glove engulfed in flames over a dark backdrop. The light of the fire illuminates the contours and details of the glove as it sits in front of a similarly colored background. The fire fills the negative space where the hand could be imagined inside of the glove, expressing the fiery spirit and energy that permeates every MMA fight, and the determination of those who choose to put on the gloves.
